Celtics vs. Heat score: Live NBA playoff updates as Boston looks to even series with Miami in Game 2

The Boston Celtics are in control in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Miami Heat. Boston had a 70-45 lead at halftime and hit 12 3-pointers in the first 24 minutes. Looking to even the series after a loss in Game 1, the Celtics went on a 17-0 run in the first quarter and have not looked back. Jayson Tatum scored 20 points in the first half and Jaylen Brown added 15 on the road at FTX Arena.

The Heat only had one player score in double figures in the first half (Jimmy Butler with 13 points), and had eight turnovers. Butler and Miami used a massive third-quarter run to take control of Game 1 on Tuesday, but they would need a historic comeback to get a win in Game 2. Boston is back to full strength for the game as Marcus Smart and Al Horford returned to the starting lineup after missing Game 1.
